Door status magnetic detectors work by means of an internal Reed sensor, which is activated by an external magnetic field (magnet). Its wireless technology allows sending the detection status to the controller without the need for any wiring. A solar cell provides power to the device. The sensor is mounted on the frame and the magnet on the door leaf. This model is suitable for installation embedded in doors and windows made of aluminum and wood. When the door is closed, the magnetic field generated by the magnet is detected by the Reed sensor. When the door is opened, the magnet separates from the sensor and stops detecting the magnetic field. Both states are transmitted wirelessly.
